Personality-

Matt is a fun loving child who only knows how to be kind. He is always thinking about others before himself and is never mean. Matt is very clever on the other hand, he has an excellent imagination and will always figure out a plan for a situation. Matt also tries to do the right thing.

I chose to cast Adrian Alonso for the part of Matt because Adrian is a young Spanish boy with dark brown hair and tanned skin. Just as I pictured Matt. The book does not really go into detail about the appearance of Matt, other than he is small and young. Adrian is the perfect choice for someone to play Matt because the description of Matt is exactly him. Adrian was part of the legend of Zorro and Spanish is his first language. In the book Matt seems very mature for his age and though Adrian may be a little bit older this is a  positive to make Matt seem older than he is. Adrian is also a very clever kid as is Matt, Matt is constantly able to find something out of nothing and Adrian could portray this very well.

Celia(NICK) - Eva Mendes

Eva Mendes- American Actress born in U.S. parents from Cuba.

Physical Appearance-

- Olive Skin

Personality- Celia can be very nice but at the same time has a very short temper. She is very loving and caring towards Matt and a little over protective.

I chose to cast Eva Mendes as Celia because in the book we find Matt saying the she has black and and olive skin just like Celia. Though Eva does not have black hair, it would be easy to dye it black. I think that she is perfect for Celia because she is the type of person who would be able to go from super nice and loving to mad in a matter of seconds. Celia is originally from Mexico so she has Olive skin, Eva is American but has olive skin. Eva also looks VERY and would fool anybody for a Mexican, though she is not fat i am not sure if the boy on page 10 was just trying to insult her or be mean. So i think you could go either way and make Celia a beautiful Mexican or put a fat suit on Eva Mendes.
